Unless the LORD builds a house,
its builders labor over it in vain;
unless the LORD watches over a city,
the watchman stays alert in vail.
In vain you get up early and stay up late,
working hard to have enough food-
yes, He gives sleep to the ones
Sons are indeed a heritage
from the LORD,
children, a reward.
Like arrows in the hard of a warrior
are the sons born in one’s youth.
Happy is the man who has filled
his quiver with them.
Such men will never be put
when they speak with their enemies
at the city gate.
Greetings DIVAs! Let us accept nothing less today than the power of the resurrected Lord working in our lives! Do you believe your striving is useless unless you trust in the Lord? God’s blessing prospers all things and all human effort is vain without it. Oh what a blessing it is to labor and see the fruit! The highest thinking begins with trusting the Lord with the entirety our work. With His blessing, the saints can rest peacefully knowing the Lord is at work guarding, protecting, and providing for His loved ones. Are you willing to be challenged for the next week to not enter your blessing (sleep) without expressing gratitude to the Lord for your ability to have peaceful sleep knowing the Lord never grows faint or weary (Isaiah 40:28)? Thank you Lord.
I am quickened with a fresh insight from the Most High Spirit. If you have children, they are your inheritance and they are given to provide security and protection as you age. Ah, but looking inward to the Truth that speaks authentically to our spirit we are indeed an inheritance to our parents! What an easy task indeed if we were raised with a godly example while in their care and we are able to go forth in that example! What about those who were not given the godly example in their youth? We shall be taught now by the Spirit! He will teach us to be our parent’s inheritance (heritage and reward) all in the name of Jesus! We will bring glory to the Darling of heaven. Father God Himself knows how we are to respond and the Holy Spirit informs us of our Father’s desires! Praise God there are no excuses! Praise God He teaches us in all righteousness and we are more than able to be faithful to the teaching!
Thank you Jesus that we have been given children as an inheritance but thank you all the more that we are able to bring You glory through honoring our parents and being their inheritance! Glory!!! Ask the Lord for wisdom if you are lacking; He will give generously (James 1:5).
Remember to memorize or read the Psalm 15 times. How are you progressing? Don’t fret, you can write the Psalm on a note card and easily have it read 15 times before the end of the day.
In His grace,
