United DIVAs

Greetings fellow sojourners!  Do you recall that as New Testament believers we are priest to our Lord and King?  As part of our service, we prayerfully appeal to God through Jesus Christ on behalf of ourselves and others.  It is only through Jesus, our intercessor, that our prayers gain acceptance and bring an answer of peace!  First Peter 2:9 tells us, “You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession so you can proclaim the praises of the One who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

What a great salvation we have!  That we shall proclaim the praises of the One who has done wonders among us!  Consider all the Lord has done on your behalf.  When faced with difficulty our hearts are inclined to forget or minimize.  On this day let us rejoice and let gladness fill our hearts to overflowing!  Let us confess to our hearts and praise and glorify Him with boldness to ourselves and others!  He brings us out of darkness and into light, out of sorrow and into joy, out of a yoke of slavery and into freedom!  Hallelujah!!…

  1. I didn’t get to look at the posting yesterday. I just read it after coming home from our amazing study “Living Beyond Yourself”. I can’t express how much of the Fathers love and joy I felt after reading my name listed with all the new sojourners and realized the fact that you all have been praying for me!!! Especially yesterday I went through a difficult time with one of my grandsons. Just to know that all the time I was being lifted up in prayer brought tears to my eyes and an overwhelming sense of how much God loves us. Thank you all so much and I am so proud to be one of the “United Divas” Praise His marvelous Name

  2. As the 2:00 o’clock hour approaches, I must ask for additional prayers. This one is for myself. I am a breast cancer survivor but the Doctor is talking to me about the Big C again. My cancer markers are very high, indicating the cancer may have returned. During my previous cancer bout, my sweet daughter quit her job to take care of me. Taking me to treatment every day (47 of them ). As the treatments progressed, I became very weak. The last treatment was monumental to both of us. They called my name to come back to the treatment room and I was so weak I didn’t know if I could make it. My daughter held out her arms to me and said “come on Mama, you can do this”. The roles were reversed as I remembered me holding out my arms to her when she was learning to walk and saying “Come on Donna, you can do this”. I am so blessed to have her for my daughter. Thank you Lord Jesus!!!! Your prayers are needed!

  3. I am asking for your prayers for my sister, Mary Ann, who is in an Atlanta, Ga. hospital (a long way from my Texas home). My daughter and I went to see her last week, the purpose was to make sure that she knew Jesus as her Savior. That she knew the sweet & loving SAVIOR JESUS that we know. Please pray for her – she is in pain and having difficulty breathing. Please pray that her family would be reconciled. My heart aches that I can’t be with her at this time.

    • Sweet Helen, as I know you have beem one of our Diva’s praying for my son, Derek, you need to know he has used one time and told his wife since we all began praying for him. I am 3 hours from your sister. If she would receive me on your behalf and on that of our Lord, I will go visit her in Atlanta. In the meantime she is in my prayers. You are with her in spirit and she will know you are praying for her. I love you dear and I am praying that the test is a lie from the pit of hell and that you are walking cancer free just as I am, being healed twice by Almighty God in grace. Lay hands on yourself and ask God to gather any active cancer cells and cast them to the pit of hell to burn in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen. I love you!

  4. I go to the book of Acts and Ephesians and know that as believers we are One in Spirit in Jesus and God the Father and His Holy Spirit and when we gather in that One Spirit to pray there is a power surge in our prayers. With that being said, we have to gather in One mind, leaving the soul, the “I” the selfish soul out of prayer. Jesus baptizes us with the Spirit of Almighty God and with fire for effectiveness in His Kingdom here on earth. The fire is to purify our soul to as we grow up in the Lord. The ungodly ways the soul may lead us must be put on the altar to be offered up as burnt offering to the Lord, producing a fragrant aroma to the Lord. Leaving all sentiments and hurts on the altar. As the Lord shows this to me consistently, I have to intentionally guide my soul to the altar of GRACE in Christ to pray effectively for the ones who hurt me the most, seeing them as Jesus sees them and me as we have been created to be transformed in His image. We can not be in One accord with our soul involved in our prayer. It is in our mind and heart! Today, my mind and heart are leading me to pray for those coming against me that they will receive the power surge of the One hope that we have in our Jesus!!! Hallelujah Diva’s to the power surge that the Lord desires to empower by the Holy Spirit for healing , deliverance and we stand in His peace and joy no matter the circumstance! Amen! I love you all mighty women of God! I love the image of our precious Savior on the cross saying “forgive them, for they know not what they do”. That is the mind I want 24/7 until I see Him face to face!!

  5. I pray that the blood of THE Lamb would cover you and you will know this for complete healing in every area of your life. Back during the time of the OT tabernacle, the priest offered unblemished animals to atone for the sins of the people. God Himself, provided the unblemished Lamb to atone for our sins and in doing so we are presented to Him in a condition just as if we had never sinned. Praise God for His offering!

  6. Isaiah 61:3 says: (The Lord will) grant to those who mourn in Zion a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; That they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting on the Lord, that He may be glorified!
Come before Him today, humbly in His awesome presence – joining to pray to Him and praise Him for what He has done and what He is going to do. Put on your garment of praise. Hold your oil of gladness. Bow before him – can you feel him placing the beautiful headdress upon your head? We are HIS!
Praying for all requests made and for each lovely name written in this post

  7. Welcome to all the new ladies! This is a wonderful place to say how you feel and what you are going through. It helps to know we have other women who are going through the same things in life. We can lift each other up in the name of The Lord!
