Greetings Beloved of the Most High God! With Christmas day coming to a close I would be honored to leave you with some words of encouragement.
“The Lord has removed your punishment; He has turned back your enemy.” Zeph. 3:15
“Yahweh your God is among you, a warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will bring you quietness with His love. He will delight in you with shouts of joy.” Zeph. 3:17
Yes, these precious promises were made to the people of Israel but this pledge would see its full accomplishment in the Gospel; for you and for me.
Yahweh our God is among us (John 1:14, 14:23) to deliver us out of the hands of the enemy! He is a warrior who saves (Isaiah 33:22, 35:3-4)! He rejoices over you with gladness (Isaiah 62:5) ~ You, His delivered child! He renews you with His love. Your fears and uneasiness will be quieted by His love. He will delight in you with singing. Wow. What love is that! Make no mistake, this is no fickle kind of love, nor a passive kind of love, nor is it a self-serving kind of love. This is a PERFECT kind of love. This is the demonstrated kind of love YOU are loved with. Receive this richly and deeply into your heart, mind, and soul beloved.
“Sing for joy, Daughter Zion; shout loudly, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, Daughter Jerusalem!” ( Zeph. 3:14) So go ahead, beloved of the Most High God, sing for joy, shout loudly! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart!
Try to imagine what it would have been like if you were one of the wise men (Matthew 2:2) following the leading star. We possibly read that passage with far too much casualness. What if you went outside and discovered a star shining so brightly above you that it shone like a spotlight on your feet and beckoned you to travel forward until it stopped right at the spot for you to beheld The Miraculous. Absolutely Amazing. Consider the Word as your bright and beckoning star these days and behold the miraculous places it will lead your life.
Never forget these precious Biblical promises. Allow them to shine brightly for you this day and every day forevermore.
In His grace,
