‘Tis the Season for Fruit!

“For the flesh desires what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit desires what is against the flesh; these are opposed to each other, so that you don’t do what you want.  Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”

Galatians 5:17, 24

Greetings fellow sojourners!  What a blessing it is to be in the company of Believers!  Has the Spirit of the living God ever required you to face the reality that you can not walk fully in the quality of love (even as a born-again believer) while operating in your own strength, own emotions, and own flesh?  Have you ever been painfully aware that your own flesh is at war with the Spirit in this regard (as well as other areas)?  Dreadful.

What do we do with the command, “I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44)?….

  1. Heavenly Father please continue to change us from the inside out. Empower us to be more and more like Jesus so that when He comes He will see Himself so reflected in us and we will hear “well done good and faithful servant.” Praise You in advance for all You are working in us. In the mighty and all powerful Name of Jesus. Amen

  2. Thank You Jesus that You have equipped us with every spiritual blessing under Heaven. You have given us every weapon for this fight.
You have even equipped us to crucify the flesh, and it’s desires. Lord that we would lay hold of the authority You have given us to deny our flesh, to deny our right to be right, and strengthen us to choose to be and do what is righteous. That we would see those You have placed in our lives as You see them especially those we are married too.
Lord, that our lives would bear witness of Your fruit.
