The Power of your Testimony – 3

“They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not love their lives in the face of death.” Revelation 12:11

Greetings fellow sojourners! Do you have this verse committed to memory yet?! Let’s look at the last portion of this verse. “…for they did not love their lives in the face of death.” Those spoken of in this verse would face death for the sake of giving their testimony. The impact of the shed blood of Christ on our behalf is what has allowed us to even have a testimony. Have you given thought to your testimony?

Let’s look at it from a different perspective. You have a testimony to the evidence or proof of Jesus’ transforming power in your life. Are you willing to share this evidence with others even if it seems to be a ‘death’ to your facade (outward appearance that is maintained to conceal a less pleasant or creditable reality) because you are ‘so different now’? We are all so different now because of Jesus! Thank you Lord for that!! Even if you are still pressing forward with your testimony, it is still a testimony.

The enemy will give you plenty to ‘worry about’ but just press on. Don’t worry about perfection in writing, just write. Don’t worry that your testimony is ‘not as significant’ as someone else’s, just give it. Don’t worry if you have to condense it, just speak from your heart. Don’t worry if you don’t have time, just make time. Don’t worry if you don’t see the point, just trust the Word.

So, what is your testimony friend? Please include it here in the comment section. Do you recall hearing or reading about someone’s testimony that encouraged you to press on in this life? Don’t forget to read the testimonies from November 10th forward!

As we approach the official day this nation as set aside to give Thanks, I am thankful for you. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you and give you peace. We have many reasons to be thankful DIVAs!  I challenge you right now as you read this to verbalize 10 of them. Amen!

In His grace,

Amanda

The Power of Your Testimony – 2

Did you know you are Divinely Inspired and Victoriously Anointed (DIVA)? If you are like me, sometimes the vernacular becomes so commonplace that it looses its punch and therefore requires a fresh look. Therefore, let’s devour some brief definitions of these words:

Divine ~ of, from, or like God

Inspired ~ to fill with the urgency or ability to do something

Victorious ~ having won a victory, triumphant

Anointed ~ expresses the sanctifying influences of the Holy Spirit upon Christians (2 Corinthians 1:21)

You are a DIVA and your testimony IS meant to be a powerful witness, all to the glory of God! We shall take another week to compose your testimony. I encourage you to do so. Michelle added her testimony last week and it is lovely. Praise God!

“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” Revelation 12:11

Have you composed your testimony?  DIVAs can do it!  Post it here in the comment section.

In His Grace,

Amanda

The Power of Your Testimony

“And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.” (Revelation 12:11)

Greetings fellow sojourners! You are precious and much loved! If you have ever been tempted to believe your testimony is not valuable and not worth sharing this verse demonstrates to you it is not so! We understand that the blood of the Lamb not only pays the ‘invoice’ Satan holds but we can plead the blood of the Lamb over our everyday struggles. Have you noticed that your enemy (Satan) tries to wave that ‘invoice’ over you and your situation attempting to make you think it is not paid? That something is still owed on it? (Jesus paid it in full by His substitutionary death) Rebuke it and thank the Lord for what He has done on your behalf! The verse says they (you) have defeated him (your enemy) by the blood of the Lamb (Spiritually applying the power of His blood to your life) AND by your testimony. Have you ever pondered the powerful magnitude of your testimony joined with the blood of the Lamb??? What would occur if our minds could fully comprehend this supernatural truth? Your Lord intends for you to live a victorious life (by defeating your enemy) and lead others in it!!…

Victor or Victim?

Greetings fellow sojourners! Have you ever considered what it really means to be ‘more than victorious’? I advised someone close to me recently, because of their current situation to not act like a victim but a victor! How about you? Have you ever chosen the role of victim over victor?

“No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.” (Romans 8:37) Despite all what things? Affliction, anguish, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger, or sword (verse 35). …
