הֹוד֤וּ לַיהוָה֙ כִּ֣י טֹ֔וב כִּ֥י לְעֹולָ֖ם חַסְדֹּֽו׃

Shall we begin this thanksgiving season with a heart that rejoices in His praise?  Yes Lord!  The title for this post is  written in Hebrew and is 1 Chronicles 16:34.  We will take a little more than 2 weeks to memorize a proclamation of thanksgiving and another Psalm.   Thank you Lord in advance for our success!  Scripture references are given in the proclamation only if you desire further study.  Let’s memorize the proclamation without the references.  Are you ready!

A Thanksgiving Proclamation

I will shout triumphantly to Him in song (Psalm 95:2) as I enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.  (Psalm 100:4)  I will not worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, I will let my request be made known to my God. (Philippians 4:6)  In doing so, I will allow the peace of the Messiah to control my heart and be thankful! (Colossians 3:15)  I acknowledge God’s will for my life in Christ Jesus is to give thanks in everything. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)  I will call on your name Lord, giving thanks to you and proclaiming your deeds among the people.  (1 Chronicles 16:8)  Your faithful love endures forever!  I will stand every morning and evening giving thanks and praise to you for you are good! (1 Chronicles 16:34, 23:30).  Yes, you are good.

Psalm 138

I will give You thanks with all my heart; I will sing Your praise before the heavenly beings.  I will bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your constant love and truth.  You have exalted Your name and Your promise above everything else.  On the day I called, You answered me; You increased strength within me.  All the kings on earth will give You thanks, LORD, when they hear what You have promised.  They will sing of the LORD’s ways, for the LORD’s glory is great.  Though the LORD is exalted, He takes note of the humble; but He knows the haughty from a distance.  If I walk into the thick of danger, You will preserve my life from the anger of my enemies.  You will extend Your hand; Your right hand will save me.  The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me.  LORD, Your love is eternal; do not abandon the work of Your hands.

Hallelujah and Amen!!  You can do it DIVAs!

Welcome King of Glory!

Psalm 24

The earth and everything in it, the world and its inhabitants, belong to the LORD; for He laid its foundation on the seas and established it on the rivers. Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD?  Who may stand in His holy place?  The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not set his mind on what is false, and who has not sworn deceitfully.  He will receive blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.  Such is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.  Lift up your heads, you gates!  Rise up, ancient doors!  Then the King of Glory will come in.  Who is this King of glory?  The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle.  Lift up your heads, you gates!  Rise up, ancient doors!  Then the King of glory will come in.  Who is He, this King of glory?  The LORD of Hosts, He is the King of glory.

If you are a person inhabiting the earth you belong to the Lord!  Glory!  He has stated claim to you and our response is to accept His Son and receive the Trinity!  Praise the Creator and Sustainer for His power in laying the foundation of this earth on the seas and rivers (flood) as a covenant promise (Genesis 9:11).  Our trust, however, is not placed on a foundation built on a sea and flood but on the Creator of the foundation itself…The Rock! (Deu. 32:3-4)

Shall you be a climber and persist in the ascension of the holy mountain of  our God?  We shall not cling to the baggage that morally defiles us but alternatively desire spiritual fellowship with our most holy Lord!  Amen!  We indeed shall be called the generation who seeks  the Lord by calling upon His name (Psalm 27:8)!

Who is willing to open the very gates of their sanctuary (1 Co. 3:16), lifting up their heads, and beholding the glory of the risen Lord!  Command your gates to swing wide and let the King of Glory come in!  Don’t sit.  Rise!  Come to your feet with head lifted and arms open (picture them as gates) preparing yourself for the King of Glory!

This is a song.  Sing it to your thirsty soul that longs for a drink.  Proclaim it to the sanctuary where the Spirit resides!  Recite it as thanksgiving to the King of Glory!  Amen!

Who are the DIVAs who have memorized the 3 scriptures?  Any others for Psalm 91?  If you will be participating with Psalm 24 include your name!  Be persistent, be determined, be encouraged!  Be blessed.

In His grace,

Amanda

Continue “Remembering”!

Greetings determined DIVAs!  We have 16 victoriously anointed sisters who have desired to memorize Psalm 91.  Praise God!  Thank you Lord!  If you are reading this and you do not know us but would like to memorize scripture  alongside other sisters that love the Lord, please join us!  All you need to do is make a “comment” at the bottom of the post and add your name and where you are from!  May the Lord richly bless your heart.  I so love the comments of encouragement you DIVAs are making on this site as you have tucked the Word in tight and your love for others causes such an overflow that you desire to pass on your advice for learning!  What a precious reveal of your heart! What love!

The next set of 3 scriptures came from Ecclesiastes, Numbers, and Joshua. I wish to extend the memory time to one more week.  This will give time to those who have not quite finished Psalm 91 to catch up.  If you have finished all the memory work so far please use this time to solidify them in your minds.  Really make them stick!  Push hard DIVAs to tuck these Word into your heart because we are moving on to another Psalm next Tuesday.  Remember, make no agreements with the enemy that you are too busy, too old, too young, or not able!  You are a DIVA (Divinely Inspired Victoriously Anointed)!

Linda, Pat, and Christie have completed Psalm 91!  As you read this I am anticipating a clap of your hands for them and a shout of Hallelujah!  We will do the same for you when you have completed!  Linda and Christie have moved on to a commitment for the next 3 verses.  If you remember to add your name, the bracelets will be distributed after the 3 verses are memorized.  Press on you lovely lovely sisters.  You can do it!

In His grace,

Amanda
